NibSen | Sense of Noise | Interview

Tobi – NibSen

Band: Sense Of Noise
Album: Sense Of Noise
Genre: Melodic Death Metal
Label: Independent
Release: 05.11.2021

Hello „NibSen“ from „Sense Of Noise“.   We know eachother from the first Interview we made, so we put the right foot on the pedal 🙂

Tell me how are you and your Bandmates doing right now?

We are all fine, working hard on the release of the album. Thank you for asking

What can we expect from the selftiteld Album?

Definitely a lot of melodic death metal in the vein of the Gothenburg sound, but also different types of influences, each track is different and has it’s very own identity.

Would you like to tell my Followers about every Track a little?

Absolutely yes!

1. A Forgotten Oath

It’s the intro of the album, very cinematic and orchestral, we also used a couple of prehispanic instrument on this track.

2. The Broken Hope

It was our first single, it shows what melodic death metal is for us, fierce, dynamic and melodic as well.

3. War Within

A song with some prog influences and a different vocals dynamic

4. Morning Glory

Probably the most melodic and beautiful song on the album, lyrically inspired by ancient prehispanic lore.

5. March of the Fallen

Here things start to get a little bit different, this song is very melodic too but has different dynamics and types of riffs.

6. Zero Killed (feat. Björn „Speed“ Strid)

One of our heaviest songs, very fast too and features the one and only Björn „Speed“ Strid from Soilwork.

7. Our Dying Light

This song is also different, it keeps the Sense of Noise essence and riffing but has a very epic/viking/folk/pagan vibe.

8. Rage of Existence (feat. Antony Hämäläinen)

This is the another fast and heavy song from the album, main riff calls for a circle pit but chorus has a great melody, features Antony Hämäläinen on guest vocals, he was part of Nightrage and Armageddon

9. Sense of Darkness

The closing track on the album, keeping the band’s essence but again, some different dynamics seen here as well as some latin influences.

In which formats will „Sens Of Noise“ be released?

Definitely on digital and also on a limited digipack.

Is there another Single planned to 05.11.2021

Yes, another single (Our Dying Light) is planned for 14/10/21, it will be released with a music video too.

What can we expect in the near future from „Sense Of Noise“?

We will start rehearsing soon, so we are planning to debut live sometime next year

How did it came to work with Antony Hämäläinen And how was it to work with him? Did you meet eachother?

Working with him is great, he is a very cool guy, I actually met him in 2016 because I worked on the Armgeddon show in Mexico City and shortly after he made a guest appereance on my own band’s debut album, so for Sense of Noise I simple asked for vocals contribution and he accepted. He fits perfectly on the song and he is also very known on the melodeath scene.

Which is your fav. Track on SoN?

I like all of them, if I have to chose one I’d go for Zero Killed, but that may change tomorrow, all the tracks are great.

What Album is the best release so far – except yours of course.

Too many to even name just a few 🙂

Thanks for the interview, Nibsen. Many greetings to all of you. Something that is important to me: Stay healthy and good luck for the Release of your new Album!
